Zhipeng Ke received BSc (Hons) 2:1 Class in Applied Chemistry at the Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) in 2016. Following that, he was entered onto a MPhil course in St Andrews (directly into 2nd year) under the supervision of Professor Sharon Ashbrook and Professor Michael Buehl.

His research interests are in the areas of molecular simulation and first-principles computation. Applications include nanoporous materials such as Covalent Organic Frameworks (COFs) and Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs) for assessing their hydrogen gas storage abilities and the prediction of NMR parameters for paramagnetic solids.
