Laurie Macfarlane is a 4th year BSc student at the University of St Andrews studying Chemistry and Maths. Having joined the Ashbrook group for her honours project, she is investigating the hydration of microporous phosphates using NMR.

Outside of Chemistry, Laurie enjoys watching films, travelling and baking.
