Ben is a final year MChem (Chemistry with Mathematics) student at the university doing his 5th year project in the group. He will be spending the year investigating disorder in 17O-enriched mixed-metal MOFs, specifically CPO-27-(Zn, Mg)

Outside the lab, Ben competes in ultimate frisbee and fencing and is also a keen member of the St Andrews Adventure Group.
