The lab is situated on the fourth floor of the Purdie building and was refurbished in 2005. The lab is equipped with standard equipment for our research including schlenk lines for air-sensitive chemistry and autoclaves for high pressure hydrogenations and hydroformylation.
The group also recieved an EU grant for a studentship, which funded the purchase of gas uptake monitoring equipment for use with an autoclave for checking the progress of hydrogenations and hydroformylations.
We have access to world-class facilities within the research department including:
Solution phase NMR including three fully automated machines [Link to NMR website]
